The Oscars are Here!!!

With January coming to a close and February knocking at our door, we begin to inch closer and closer to the biggest award ceremony on television: The Oscars.

On February 27th, the stars of Hollywood will come together as the Academy will announce what they think were the best movies of 2010. Personally, I am not as excited about this year's Oscar Nominations as I have been in previous years. The main reason being that 2010 was the most depressing year I can ever remember at the box office. The last 4 months have produced quality films on very few occasions. However, despite Hollywood producing so much trash over the past 4 months, the Oscars are still somewhat special and deserve mentioning.

Basically, I'm just going to post what the nominees are for the categories people actually care about. Over the next week or so, I'll be posting a little bit more of my opinions on all of the nominees.
